Shuttle Information

This is a point to point race. Meaning that Transition 1 and Transition 2 are not in the same place.

If you do not have your own transportation, you will have to take a shuttle either before the race from LA Live (12th & Figueroa Street) to the start in Venice Beach OR after the race from LA Live (12th & Figueroa Street) back to the start at Venice Beach.

You can take your bike on the shuttle. The cost of the shuttle is $30. To purchase, add a shuttle ticket to your entry while registering on Active.com. Call 714-978-1528 to add tickets to your registration at a later date. You will pick up your tickets at a designated area at the expo.

Your options are:

• Pre-race shuttle ticket: Park at L.A. Live. Take a shuttle to the starting line in Venice Beach. Take your bike and T1 bag with you on the shuttle. Pre-race shuttles will depart at 4:30am, 5:00am, and 5:30am.
• Post-race shuttle ticket: Park at Venice Beach, bring your bike and T1 bag into the transition area. Once you have finished the race, pick up your bike, T1 and T2 bags and take a shuttle from the finish line at L.A. Live back to Venice Beach. Starting at 10:30 buses will run continuously from LA Live back to Venice. The shuttle company is not able to provide specific times because of traffic. Buses will not leave until full and a shuttle representative will be on site informing athletes when the next shuttle is approaching. The LAST BUS DEPARTS AT 2:30 P.M.
• Spectator Shuttle: Spectators can also purchase shuttle tickets. The shuttle ticket is $30 and you can purchase the ticket on our registration site on Active.com (click here-link). Spectators may ride on any of the pre-race shuttles or take spectator only runs from Venice to LA Live at 9AM, 10AM and 11AM.

(Note: All T2 bags must be dropped at the Expo prior to the race)
